On one of our coffee and drive mornings we came across this hungry tree and knew we had to bring others here. I can just imagine this glacial erratic sliding off of a glacier tens of hundreds of ages ago and having this mineral deprived tree opening up its maw to grab it (true story).
I would rather you enjoy this phenomenon and have an easy grab than have you bring attention to yourselves by the neighbors with an extended search. Cache is a black magnetic bison under bottom lip of fire hydrant.
