Thank you so much for having interest in my cache! This is my first cache so i hope i did well.

The cache is hidden in an abandoned farmhouse near Vogar, Vatnsleysuströnd. I'm very surprised not many people know about this place, it's very beautiful and i'm sure any urban explorers will love it! There aren't that many abandoned places in Iceland but this one is definitely a favourite of mine. You can park your car right outside the house. 

There are two abandoned farmhouses in the area “Ytri Ásláksstaðir" and "Móakot 2”. The Ytri Ásláksstaðir farm, was built around 1883 - from natural wood bought at an auction from the ship James Town, which stranded in Höfnum. Around the turn of the century, Guðmundur Guðmundsson, a farmer born. 1830 lived there with his wife, Ingibjörg Bjarnadóttir born. 1833 with their two daughters.
