Geocache Description:

Adding to the ever-growing number of "Attributes required" Challenge caches along Mines Road is a simple accessible, attainable "Attributes required" Challenge. The location is a rare roomy pull-out area along this twisty climbing road. The cache is located at the Posted Coordinates.

Attributes are a sometimes overlooked source of information about a cache. There are six designated categories of attribute types. They may indicate "available", or with a red line thru it "Not available" for the specified cache.

  • Permissions (allowed or not allowed): dogs, bicycles, quads, horses, etc
  • Equipment that may or may not be required to find cache, such as parking fee, special gear (scuba, climbing, etc), boat, etc
  • Conditions: scenic view, significant hike, park and grab, needs maintenance, etc
  • Hazard may/may not be present: abandoned mine, poisonous plants, ticks, thorns, dangerous animals, etc
  • Facitilites: wheelchair accessible, drinking water nearby, public restrooms, etc.
  • Specials: GeoTour, Partnership, Lost and Found
  • Other: there are a few icons assigned by headquarters, such as a Challenge cache, that are not cache owner controlled

When properly assigned to a cache it may provide the user with more details than described on the cache page. Examples: "tree climb" "Available 24/7" "Fee required"

Some attributes may also indicate a NO with a red line thru the icon ... such as the icon "Parking available" becomes "No Parking available" with a strike-out red line.

This cache is Attributed with being Wheelchair accessible, Parking available, Stroller accessible, and Available 24/7.  There are other attributes that may also be assigned appropriately to this particular hide.

The D/T rating, if a traditional hide, would qualify as a 1/1.  The requirement to have found a large number of caches certainly increases the Difficulty to a 3 to reflect time, travel, distance, and other factors of fulfilling the challenge.

CHALLENGE REQUIEMENTS:

Log finds with the following Attributes:

image Wheelchair accessible icon Wheelchair accessible

image Parking available icon Parking available

image Stroller accessible icon Stroller accessible

image Available 24/7 icon Available 24/7

TOTAL number required is at least 1313.  EACH of the Attributes must meet a minimum of 313.

There may be multiple required Attributes on any cache you find.  If that is the case the challenge can be met with fewer than 330 unique cache finds with all four attributes listed.

You may find the cache and sign the log at any time.  If you do not meet the challenge yet please post a NOTE on the cache page with the date you sign.  After you have met the challenge requiements post a FOUND log, dated on or after the date you are actually qualified to claim the smiley.

A Project-GC checker has been provided for your convenience.  Use it at any time to determine your yes or no status.
