We were from Salem to Bend and decided to pull over to eat a snack and give out dog a walk. We turned onto Blowout Road and into a pull-out. As I walked my dog I notice d an old bridge across a creek. I liked the inverted A truss wood design. The bridge is blocked mounds on either side. I wonder if this bridge is from the original Santiam highway, and at some point, the highway was moved and this bridge was left in place. You do not need to cross this bridge but you will need to walk a few steps onto it, not need to go under it.
