The first time I came up this field from Seton park I was very surprised to keep finding random cricket balls. I know the popularity of cricket in Toronto is soaring in recent years, and there is a proper cricket pitch at the nearby school yard. But why in this particular part of a weedy field? That's a lot of popping crease, leg gully, googly, wobblies from the pitch (and to think, only one of those terms was made up by me). But after scouting around a bit more, the explanation became obvious to me. Maybe for you too?
You can approach from Seton park (head straight up from the Bunny trail). Much stealth required if kids are in the school yard - we don't want muggles wondering what you are poking around at. And be aware that tall grass is a favourite place for ticks (and crickets too).
There's room for trackables, TBs, swag, etc. Please keep the cache out of the sun so that it lasts.
