THE GEOCACHE is a two inch (5cm) long, coloured metal tubular container, fixed to a wooden peg, in the ground, at the edge of the brambles, on the inside of a left bend when facing the road, but not the road side of the hedge, at the bottom edge of an open grassy public area, and covered with natural camo. Beware of brambles. There is a log roll in a plastic bag, but no room for anything else so please bring your own pen or pencil. The grassy area can get boggy so wellies are recommended in wet weather. Use the track behind the hedge, not the road. There are picnic tables, a caged play area, and various other seats and play areas close by.
THE VENUE for the WS series is a family friendly stroll along and off Weston Shore. Some sections are tarmac paths, and other sections are grass paths some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended, but check the individual cache listings if not doing the full loop. There is plenty of on road and off road parking, and various play areas and seats. Nearby there is the pitch and putt, which also has a cafe and toilets. There are likely to be muggles, particularly closer to the water.
