The first time I ever hiked the Y was to go get this
cache on Oct 26 2002 (17 days after it was placed). I've done it multiple times since then, but
caching gave me the desire to get into shape enough to do it.
The cache was originally placed be Cave or Die Dude and I adopted it in 2006. From 2011 to 2021 it was maintained for me by The NightFox. For which I'm very grateful.
The container is now a Tupperware style container.
Its is close to the trail, but hopefully stays hidden enough to continue to be unseen by non-geocachers hiking to the Y.
Hopefully the switchbacks weren't too terrible, and now you can take time to enjoy the view here.
