You will need to know a little more than the Bare Bones of geocaching to reach this cache as a tree climb is required. This is a Manzanita and can be very slippery even when dry. Make sure you have a good foothold and handhold. It is 6 miles round trip to this cache.
If you are going beyond this cache bring at least 3 litres of water for temperatures below 80 degrees. If It it much hotter than that, consider coming on a cooler day or bring at least 5 liters of water.
Primitive camping is permited 1/4 mile from parking.
