NOTE: Please kindly refrain from walking on the grass down the side of the house. The cache is accessible from either the pavement or the main green.
Also, please see note below on cache re-assembly, thanks.
Milnes Mystery on the Green
The magical place where all the craic happens.
This is my first hide. Fairly easy, great for kids.
Down a valley of twitching curtains, on a typical cut-and-paste UK housing development. Not unlike the many others that "grace" our country.
Built in the “Noughties”, by one of the large developers, once you learn to ignore its soulless nature, this estate actually has some satisfactory perks; Situated on the edge of suburbia and not being overly massive, its relatively quiet, with little foot traffic. It benefits from easy access to 2 of just 3 routes out of Lowestoft and it facilitates enjoyable country rambles around mutford and gisleham.
It is also blessed to be on the doorstep of the delightful volunteer run museum, which offers much enjoyment at the weekend.
The Cache:
I custom made this urban cache for all to enjoy. There is enough room for a couple of small swaps but please kindly refrain from overcrowding it/forcing items in, as it risks damaging the lid. I'm please to say it is easily accesible from a wheelchair. If you wish to try and avoid the need for a Hint...The Cache is Exactly on GPS target.
The best method for reassembly: First remove all items, then insert the log around the inside perimeter, before placing swaps back in the middle. Please ensure plenty of clearance for the lid to be inserted without obstruction.
It is located in a bit of a blind spot from the curtain twitchers, allowing for subtle recovery. But, it is an uban cache, so stealth will likely still be required. Disabled access and parking are both available, making it a viable "cache and dash". BYOP.
Thanks and happy caching!
