Bazylika katedralna św. Jana Chrzciciela i św. Jana Ewangelisty w Toruniu

Gotycki, ceglany kościół, dawna fara starego Miasta Torunia. 

W okresie średniowiecza miejsce wyboru władz miasta i pochówku patrycjatu. Miejsce najważniejszych uroczystości miejskich, w tym związanych z wizytami królów polskich w Toruniu.

Do końca XX wieku potocznie nazywana "kościołem św. Jana".

W roku 1935 otrzymała paieski tytuł "bazyliki mniejszej".

Od 1992 roku katedra nowo utworzonej Diecezji Toruńskiej.

W kościele pochowane jest serca króla Jana Olbrachta, znajdują się także pamiątki związane z Mikołajem Kopernikiem - chrzcielnica, epitafium jemu poświęcone i XVIII-wieczny pomnik.

W środku warto zobaczyć na ścianie północnej prezbiterium dużą i ikonograficznie rozbudowaną scenę z ok. 1380–90 przedstawiająca Ukrzyżowanie na drzewie Jessego, a wokół Sąd Ostateczny, Mater Misericordiae, Kościół i Synagogę, Legendę o Trzech Żywych i Trzech Zmarłych oraz personifikacje cnót i grzechów głównych.

Na kościelnej wieży znajduje się Tuba Dei (Trąba Boża) – największy średniowieczny dzwon w Polsce (obecnie jest to piąty co do wielkości dzwon w Polsce), wagi 7238 kg (w tym żelazne serce 200 kg).

W bazylice znajdują się dwa instrumenty organowe -  małe, barokowe z 1688 r. oraz romantyczne zbudowane w 1878 r.

The hearts of King Jan Olbracht are buried in the church, there are also memorabilia related to Nicolaus Copernicus - a baptismal font, an epitaph dedicated to him and an 18th-century monument.

Inside, on the north wall of the presbytery, it is worth seeing a large and iconographically extensive scene from around 1380–90 showing the Crucifixion on Jesse's tree, and around the Last Judgment, Mater Misericordiae, the Church and Synagogue, the Legend of the Three Living and the Three Dead, and personifications of virtues and deadly sins .

On the church tower there is Tuba Dei (God's Trumpet) - the largest medieval bell in Poland (currently it is the fifth largest bell in Poland), weight 7238 kg (including an iron heart 200 kg).

There are two organ instruments in the basilica - small, baroque from 1688 and romantic, built in 1878.
