A brief history of my encounters with this location. Ever since a very young age, I've had a very keen interest in towers of any type, be it cell, bell, radio, clock etc... Prior to 2013, I lived in Moncton, New Brunswick and would frequently visit my grandparents here in Fredericton. During my visits, I would notice a certain cell phone tower that rose far above the rest of them. Not because of its height, but where it stood on Bluff Hill (commonly referred to as McLeod Hill). Even standing on my grandparents back porch at night, the tower was still visible as the red aircraft warning light faded in and out. Not too long after moving to Fredericton, the light seemingly went out, leaving the hill in complete darkness. As I write this nearly eight years later, the light still remains dead. Around 2014 or 2015, my grandfather and I made the 800m hike up the access road to the tower. Thanks to the powerline directly adjacent to the tower, provides fantastic views of the city! Formerly there was a geocache at this site called "Bluff Hill Tower". This site is perfect for a geocache. Glad to have had the opportunity to hide a cache here.
