*****Physical Cache is not at this location**** Read the historical marker and then solve the puzzle to determine final destination - once to the final stage you are looking for a simple park & grab
Before the 19th Amendment was ratified by U.S. Congress, nearly 26,000,000 women were unable to own property or open a bank account, among other things. This was of course due to the fact that women could not vote, and therefore had no ability to make policy or legislative changes in government. This cache is in honor of the strong, brave, and dedicated women, especially those women from Alexandria, VA - who gave all women in this country this precious right. Please read about one of the many injustices suffered by several local pioneers, and then make your way to the final destination of this cache. A nice added bonus, would be for all of the women 'geocachers' to include a photo of themself as a show of solidarity with all of our sisters - especially to honor those tough Virginia Women who took on the challenge for their daughters, granddaughters, sisters, and neices. Girl Power!
