Geocache Description:

Village Hall, Laxton

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres.
For details and statistics about the Village Hall Series please visit Village Hall Series website.

Laxton Village Hall is a Grade II listed building, achieving the status on 25 July 1980.

Like many village halls in the area, it was originally the village school and was built at the end of the C19th in the Gothic style. It is a fairly plain building and is well used in Britain's last remaining open field farming village.
