Geocache Description:

 Fairhall River

Fairhall; 1847, a chainman in a survey team, Mr. Fairhall.

The Fairhall River originates approximately 13 km Southwest of here, near the Blairich sector.
It flows past just metres in front of where you stand now at the cache, to join with the Ōpaoa River just 4 km Northeast.

There was a cache within the grassy area under the trees here since 2011 owned by bumandworker, but sadly the structure which held the cache, a small wooden shed for garden equipment, has recently been demolished and cannot be found anywhere on the cemetery grounds. The cache is presumed lost in the process. This is still a nice place to visit, so I proposed this replacement cache.

You need not walk anywhere near the graves to find or recover this cache. There is plenty of parking inside the cemetery, and ample parking roadside closer to the GZ with an opening in the iron fence.
Should be a quick park n grab, but the usual discretion with regard to maintaining stealth should be observed when retrieving the cache.
Enjoy the pleasant surroundings.
