Residents of Appleton and the surrounding area have been enjoying the offerings of Linwood Park since 1945. There is 10 beautiful acres here, featuring areas for many activities. A friendly walking path loops and disects the park. A pavilion sits on the grounds, which can host gatherings near 50 people. The playground, baseball diamond, basketball court, and tennis courts are also onsite for all to enjoy. Linwood is also one of 5 parks in the city which offers courts striped for the game of Pickleball.
This cache has been placed in conjunction with a city park clean up organized by the APRD. Please help keep our city parks clean. Garbage receptacles are placed in the parks. Please help the parks stay clean by placing any trash you may see lying around into the receptacles.
The cache container here does not resemble a ball of any sort. BUT, if you are searching for a cache or observing a nearby game from this position, you may want to keep an eye/ear open for a FOUL BALL!
