There's nothing new about this cache. Apart from the fact that it's my first hide!
- Reduce: The container is a smaller version of a larger object.
- Re-use: Both the location and the container have been caches before and were archived. At GZ you'll see the remnants of "Secret squirrel" (GC69D6X), and the container was originally "Hidden in spikes" (GC7FCQR), which I liberated after contacting the CO.
- Recycle: The cache consists of salvaged items, including the container itself, a magnet, some old string and a page from an old shopping list pad.
Caution: THIS A BUSY LOCATION. It's a pull-in with parking, and there is a footpath/cycleway running alongside, but the traffic rushes past on the main road so be careful with kids. If driving, it may be best approached from the Bedford direction where parking will be on the left.
The cache is quite high up and would be out of reach to a wheelchair user without a "grabber".
There is no need to go through the gate: please don't obstruct it. The cache is not on the gates or any of their posts.
Remember your pen and when replacing, please ensure it is not visible from the road. Good luck!
