The cache is located in Lake Lansing Park North in Haslett, MI. The park currently opens one half hour before sunrise for pedestrian access and 8:00am for vehicle access. The park currently closes one half hour after sunset. Please respect the park hours.
We want to give a shout out to GuitarGurl84 who found this container, which we though was lost. She left the container for us where we could pick it up, and it has now been cleaned up and recycled into this new cache.
This cache is a small snap-lock hidden in a typical way. If you do not find the cache right away, please use the hint below vs. overly disturbing the area.
In the winter, when the trails are signed x-country skiing only - no hiking, please respect that and do not seek the cache unless you are on x-country skis.
There is a fee for vehicles entering this park when the booth is staffed. Pedestrians and bicycles can enter for free even when there is someone in the booth. No bicycles allowed on the hiking trails though.
There are many other geocaches hidden in this wonderful park, so you may want to plan on spending some time on the trails while you are here.
Enjoy your hike!
Congrats to 3bearsmomma on being FTF!
