A walk-along lovers lane which is beside the Kirk Dam, built to provide water to the cotton mills of the town and is now a habitat for a variety of marshland birds. At the published coordinates you are looking for a micro-sized container and will need tweezers, this cache provides coordinates for the final cache
. Please walk along the path up to the Dam and along the Burn. It is also a good cache to follow on from The Lady & The Night cache, GCR2JE Wellingtons will be necessary when we have had a prolonged period of wet weather at the final cache location.
When you have found the cache and signed it ( please put everything back as you found it and make sure lids are securely on ) you can go back directly to your car, or carry on along Lovers Lane until you join the road, turn right and then turn right again onto Barone Road until you come to Auchnacloich Rd, which will bring you back to your car.
