Highway 56 was bypassed by Highway 82 many years ago. As a result, many small towns that sit on Highway 56 were all but forgotten. This caching series is a tour of these small towns and historical points along this road. Highway 56 stretches through alomost exactly two counties, from Whitesboro, Texas in Grayson County to Honey Grove, Texas.
