The cache is hidden on Pennsylvania State Game Lands 198. This area is hunted so abide by the rules and regulations of the Pennsyvania Game Commission. Though I have never saw one in this area, the area is known to have a population of timber rattlesnakes.
At the posted location you will come upon a steel gate. This gate has a two digit number painted with white paint on the post, this number is the gate number.
You will have to do some simple math using that number to come up with the variables to these coordinates: N40° 26.0A4 W78° 30.7B9. Take the first digit of the two and add 2 to that value for A. Take the second digit of the two and add 6 to that value for B.
An example would be: If the gate number is 21 The first digit is 2. The substitution calls to add 2 to that number, 2+2=4, A=4. The second digit is 1. Instructions call to add 6 to that number, 6+1=7, B=7.
I had a great deal of variance on the GPS readings at the final location. Give your device a chance to acclimate to the area.
