Parish Church of St Mary
The Parish Church of St. Mary, Widford stands proudly as a gateway to Chelmsford. Since the 1300s there has been a church standing on this site but the current church was built in 1862. It was designed by James Piers St Aubyn and funded by Arthur Pryor of Hylands House. The Church building is Grade II listed due to its architectual interst.
