After 36 hides, this is my first puzzle cache, which I've had in the back of my mind for awhille. I'm a big movie fan and this is a location that I saw a good number of them, especially in the 80s. I thought this area was going to be redeveloped, so I held off with this hide, but they're still dragging their feet so I figured I might as well because it may be years before they decide anything.
You must find the answers to the following questions about some of my favorite movies. You might not know all of them off the top of your head, but most answers can be found with a little help from Google or watching movie clips on You Tube. After finding the digits, plug them into the coords below with the corresponding letter.
N 40 AB.CDE W80 FG.HIJ
A = The second digit of the room number that Danny is supposed to avoid in The Shining (in the movie, not the book)
B = The day of the date that Marty first travels back to in Back to the Future.
C = Number of bagels tucked in the front Jeff Spicoli’s pants when he enters Mr. Hand’s class in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
D = The first digit of the value of the gold they are searching for in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
E = The first digit of how many lives Oskar Schindler saved in Schindler’s List.
F = Bluto’s grade point average in Animal House.
G = The final digit of Alex’s prisoner number in A Clockwork Orange.
H = The last digit of the first 4 digits on Travis Bickle’s taxi license plate (not driver's license) on the front of his taxi in Taxi Driver.
I = The third digit in the bible verse that Jules likes to quote in Pulp Fiction.
J = Number of letters in the top tattooed phrase on Leonard’s left bicep in Memento.
Final container is small with just a log so bring your own pencil. I had some questions that didn't make the cut for this cache, so there may be a "sequel" in the future. Good luck!
