In order to claim a find on this challenge, you must find and log five of the seven oldest geocaches in Santa Clara County.
Cachers may sign a challenge cache's physical log at any time. However, the challenge cache may be logged as found online only after the log is signed and the challenge tasks have been met and documented. Finds on sufficiently old caches that are now archived will count as qualifiers. The checker below will tell you if you qualify and list the current 7 oldest.
At the time of publication, these were the 7 oldest.

If you are from some other county in California, consider creating a Historic Caches of xxx County or have a local cacher create one. Maybe one day all the counties in the state will have one. Keeping people going to these will create awareness and help preserve them.
If the nearby picnic area parking is closed or reserved, you can usually find a spot where Stevens Canyon Road and Mount Eden Road split. It's only a short walk back.
