Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.

My first job as a 15 year old was working at a concession stand on Quinsippi Island. The concession stand was a converted CB&Q Caboose.

The Quincy Park district had developed Quinsippi Island into a major tourist destination in the mid 1960's. The main draws were the Quinsippi Central Railway, or "Little Q", the Sky Cruise and the Quinsippi Queen.

The Little Q ran from All America Park to the southern tip of the island.

The southern terminus featured a railway turntable which allowed the locomotive to head back to the main depot.
Also pictured is the concession caboose.

The Sky Cruise gondolas would fly passengers from downtown Quincy over Quincy Bay onto the southern tip of the island near the Railway terminus.

The Quinsippi Queen was an excursion boat that took passengers on a tour of Quincy Bay.

The posted coordinates take you to the sign at the entrance of the bridge to the Island.
Now, let's have some offset fun.
On this sign is the year the park was established. Add 1% of that number to itself, that is the distance to the final coordinates.
Now, using the tried and true method of letter to number conversion, (A=1, B=2, C=3 etc.), add all the letters in "Quinsippi Island". Then add 52.35 to that number for the angle.
