En 1907 que commencent les travaux d’aménagement du Golf, dans les vastes terrains en friche des bords de l’Allier avec un parcours de 9 trous. Dans le même temps était construit le pavillon primitif par l’architecte Gustave Simon, architecte de la Compagnie fermière. En 1922, le nombre sans cesse croissant de joueurs impose l’agrandissement du Pavillon avec l’installation de vestiaires et d’un bar, c’est à l’occasion de cet agrandissement en 1936 que le clocheton originel est détruit.
C'est l’un des tout premiers golfs de France par son ancienneté et sa beauté. Le parcours par 70 de 5366m de long (au départ des blancs) comprend 3 pars 5, 10 pars 4 et 5 pars 3.
In 1907, the development of the Golf began, in the vast fallow land on the banks of the Allier with a 9-hole course. At the same time, the primitive pavilion was built by the architect Gustave Simon, architect of the Farm Company. In 1922, the constantly growing number of players required the expansion of the Pavilion with the installation of changing rooms and a bar, it was on the occasion of this expansion in 1936 that the original pinnacle was destroyed.
It is one of the very first golf courses in France for its age and beauty. The course by 70 of 5366m long (from the white) includes 3 pars 5, 10 pars 4 and 5 pars 3.
