To Cache or not to Cache - is that really the question?
What you seek is not among the dead, aside the green grass and peaceful landscape. No need to tramp the hallowed ground or trapse across memorials or monuments. It is secured to the rusted past of those that have gone before to build enclosures some even able to be tightened when needed. Do not over estimate or overlook the details as you try to find this cache as it's a quick grab for many, while for others a trial and error of looking beyond the grass, wood, stone and metal.

Recipe: A-BLT Salad
For those that love bacon and enjoy a fresh salad imparted with the creaminess of a ripe avocado this is for you! Better yet, you get to skip the carbs and go right for the bold flavors presented in the easy to prepare dish. I prefer thick cut country bacon, but turkey or Canadian bacon will work just as well, but in my humble opinion not offer as much flavor.
Ingredients:
14 slices of lean thick cut bacon
2 beefsteak tomatoes, cored and chopped
¼ cup Sir Kensington’s Mayo (seasoned mayo)
1/8 tsp. freshly crushed black pepper
1/8 tsp. sweet paprika
2 heads of romaine, cleaned and chopped
1 large avocado, peeled, seeded and chopped
Balsamic glaze – Optional dressing
Procedure:
Place a large skillet over medium low heat and add sliced bacon to skillet, not crowding the pan but enough to cook and flip, so two batches should suffice. Turn bacon so it cooks evenly till crisp and remove from pan and place on paper towel to absorb grease and cool. Crumble bacon.
In a medium bowl combine tomatoes, mayo, pepper and paprika. Toss together, mixing well and set aside for a few minutes to allow flavors to develop.
When ready to serve set out 4 plates and place 2 cups of salad on each plate and divide the tomato mixture evenly between the plates. Evenly distribute the crumbled bacon and chopped avocado between the four plates and lightly drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired and serve.
