Phillip Marlowe fue creado por el escritor norteamericano Raymond Chandler, que lo define así: "Creo que podría seducir a una duquesa, pero estoy bastante seguro de que no mancharía a una virgen". Marlowe es un cínico que esconde un caballero andante a la espera de rescatar a una princesa bajo luces de neón. Cary Grant nunca interpretó a Marlowe pero Chandler decía que pensaba en él cuando escribía, por ese motivo hemos seleccionado una foto de Cary Grant para representar a Marlowe.

Phillip Marlowe was created by the American writer Raymond Chandler. Chandler defines him: "I think he might seduce a duchess and I am quite sure he would not spoil a virgin". Marlowe is a cynic who hides a knight-errant hoping to rescue a princess under the neon lights. Cary Grant never played Marlowe but Chandler said he thought of him when he wrote, which is why we have selected a picture of Cary Grant to play Marlowe.
