Every time I do a multi-cache, I seem to comment that I don’t do a lot of multis because there don’t seem to be a lot of multis. I thought it might be time to put one out there.
Now, I have heard it said that a lot of people don’t like multis with a lot of stages. Most of the time, I probably count myself in that group. So, for this multi, there are only two stages: the posted coordinates and the final. Some information gathering is needed at the posted coordinates to discover where the final is.
When you reach the posted coordinates, you’ll find a monument with five names on it. You need information from this monument to get to the final which is within easy walking distance for most folks.
Final is at N 44° AA.BCD W 077° 0E.FGH.

AA = the number of CALENDAR years Loretta lived in (2 digits).
B = the last digit in John’s birth year.
C = the last digit in Hattie’s death year.
D = the number of years Sarah died after John.
E = the first digit in every year on the monument.
F = the last digit in Sarah’s death year.
G = the only digit that doesn’t appear on the monument.
H = digit of the decade that was particularly bad for this family.
Restin’ caches take you to local cemeteries, sometimes well known, sometimes all but forgotten. They may bring you to spots of particular historical interest or just quiet spots to reflect. They’re generally very easy to find.
