This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres.
For details and statistics about the Village Hall Series please visit Village Hall Series website.
Lowdham Village Hall was built in 1981 and replaced an older, smaller hall on the same site which had been erected in 1948 under the National Council of Social Service scheme, enabling parishes to have a village hall in the years following the war and whilst rationing was still enforced.
Today, the village hall plays host to a large number of childrens groups. It has a bowling green, football pitches and a cricket pitch at the back of a 3 acre plot.
