Things with wings - Bats
Bats are mammals of the order Chiroptera. Their forelimbs are adapted as wings and they are the only mammals capable of true and sustained flight.
Just a short walk down the Erie Canal towpath and you will discover a cache dedicated to this winged creature. There is no need to go on posted property. Watch for poison ivy. PLEASE bring your own pen.
