I'm not going to scare you with the details of The Terrible Trivium since you are geocaching right now when there may be other work, school, home or family related matters you should be tending to, however you can look him up as another character of The Phantom Tollbooth if you so choose. The good news is that you are getting plenty of exercise here and it's very good for your heart. Just don't fall on any of the rocks or stairs and all will be good.
Parking coordinates and terrain are for a lengthy hike there and back to the Alpine Boat Basin, but you can shorten the time and up the terrain by using the Forest View Trail. Parking at the State Line Lookout will give you the most stairs to climb. Forest View Parking and Trailhead is the easier of the two evils.
