Skandinaviško raudonojo granito, 3 metrų aukščio ir 5 tonų svorio skulptūra. Pastatyta KTU Studentų miestelio 50 metų jubiliejaus proga. Pasak skulptoriaus, studentų miestelis, kaip ir studentas, yra gyvas organizmas, kuris turi pradžią, jaunystę, brandą, senatvę. Ir visi šie dalykai gyvenime vienas kitą veja. Skulptūra simbolizuoja begalybę, sukimąsi ir gyvenimą ratu, juk visiems mums būna ir gerų, linksmų, nuotaikingų, ir liūdnų, nesėkmingų dienų.
ĮDOMU: darbo autorius teigė, jog skulptūra tai Mėbijaus juostos interpretacija. Mėbijaus juosta (angl. Mobius strip) yra vienas keisčiausių matematikos objektų. Tai toks lapas, kuris, priešingai nei įprastas dvipusis, turi tik vieną paviršių. Jis gaunamas pasukus vieną popieriaus juostos galą pagal laikrodžio rodyklę ir abu galus suklijavus. Tai vienas įdomiausių žmogaus proto atradimų, kuris gali pamokyti, kad kūryba visuomet susijusi su perspektyvos pakeitimu. Mėbijaus juosta mums primena, kad matematinė begalybės idėja turi būti išlaisvinta iš linijinio mąstymo. Kitaip tariant, kiekvienoje plokštumoje yra begalybės potencialas. A sculpture of Scandinavian red granite, 3 meters high and weighing 5 tons. Built on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of KTU Student Campus. According to the sculptor, the student campus, like the student, is a living organism that has beginnings, youth, maturity, old age. And all these things in life are each other on the lawn. The sculpture symbolizes infinity, rotation and life in a circle, because we all have good, happy, cheerful, and sad, unsuccessful days.
INTERESTING: The author of the work stated that the sculpture is an interpretation of Mebius' tape. The Mobius strip is one of the strangest objects in mathematics. It is a sheet that, unlike a conventional double-sided, has only one surface. It is obtained by turning one end of the paper strip clockwise and gluing both ends together. This is one of the most interesting discoveries of the human mind, which can teach that creation is always about changing perspective. The Mebius band reminds us that the mathematical idea of infinity must be liberated from linear thinking. In other words, there is infinite potential in every plane. The author of the texts and photos is Vykintas Gervė (gerve.lt), who has created the "Street Art Map" and is a professional tourism guide.
