都道府県魅力度ランキング2020最下位の栃木県ですが、ジオキャッシングではとても魅力的な県です。旧栃木県と宇都宮県が合併し栃木県が誕生した6月15日を記念して、2021年の県民の日に栃木にゆかりのあるジオキャッシャーが募りキャッシュを公開しました。

The 15th June is Tochigi Citizens’ Day. Tochigi Prefecture was established on June 15, 1873 with the merger of Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya Prefecture. Celebrating this day, Geocachers loved Tochigi have published caches.

The Gogyo River, or Gongyo River as it is also called, has its source near Nagakubo in the northern part of the former Ujiie Town. The source of the river is near Nagakubo in the northern part of the former Ujiie Town, which is now Sakura City. From here, the river passes through Takanezawa Town, Haga Town, and Moka City, and then crosses the prefectural border into Chikusei City, Ibaraki Prefecture, where it joins the Kogai River near Shimodate, a 55-km-long first-class river.

五行川（ごぎょうがわ）は、または勤行川（ごんぎょうがわ）とも呼ばれており、その源は旧氏家町の北部長久保付近です。現在はさくら市のここが源流とされております。ここから川は高根沢町、芳賀町、真岡市を通り、県境を越えて茨城県筑西市に入り下館付近で小貝川と合流するまで約55kmの一級河川です。
