Kaunas Street Art - tai penkių geolobiavimo entuziastų ir Kauno fanų (Matekarlo, Skiedra, KaunasLT, Litawor, Vykintas Gervė) kuriamas naujas geo-slėptuvių takas, pakviesiantis aplankyti ypatingas Kauno vietas - spalvotus namus, įsimintinus graffiti, skulptūras, memorialus.
Tekstų ir nuotaukų autorius - Vykintas Gervė (gerve.lt) sukūręs "Gatvės meno žemėlapį" ir vedantis ekskursijas. Ačiū jam už įdirbį, Kauno sužymėjimą ir leidimą naudoti info geoslėptuvių kūrimui. Žemėlapyje virš 250 taškų. Trail'e gal bus mažiau. O gal ir ne ;)

Kaunas Street Art is a new Geocaching trail created by five geocaching enthusiats and Kaunas fans (Matekarlo, Skiedra, KaunasLT, Litawor, Vykintas Gerve), inviting you to visit special places in Kaunas - colorful houses, memorable graffiti, sculptures, memorials.
The author of the texts and photos is Vykintas Gervė (gerve.lt), who has created the "Street Art Map" and is a professional tourism guide. Thanks to him for his work, pinpointing of locations and permission to use the info for creation of geocaches. The map has more than 250 points on the map. There may be less points on the trail. Or maybe not;)

Kaunas2022 projekto „Šiuolaikinės seniūnijos“ metu sukurta metalinio žirgo skulptūra. Projektas skirtas Kauno rajono bendruomenėms bei kultūros sektoriaus stiprinimui. Apylinkių žmonės buvo buvo kviečiami peržiūrėti namuose esančius daiktus ir nereikalingus atiduoti. Iš žmonių surinktų daiktų sukurta skulptūra „Žirgas“. Jos autorius – Gintautas Velykis.
ĮDOMU: skulptūra sukurta pagal stimpanko tematiką. Stimpankas, tai vienas iš fantastikos žanrų, kuomet šiuolaikinių technologijų patogumai sujungiami su karalienės Viktorijos epochos (XIX a.) inžinerine estetika ir filosofija. Andrius Tapinas yra parašęs knyga „Vilko valanda“, kurioje veiksmas vyksta stimpankiškoje Lietuvoje. Amerikoje vykstantis festivalis „Degantis žmogus“ yra žinomas dėl stimpanko stiliaus prietaisų ir aprangos.

A metal horse sculpture was created during the Kaunas2022 project “Modern Eldership”. The project is aimed at Kaunas district communities and strengthening the cultural sector. People in the area were invited to inspect items in the house and give away unnecessary items. A sculpture "Horse" was created from objects collected by people. Its author is Gintautas Velykis.
INTERESTING: the sculpture is based on the theme of stimpank. Stimpank is one of the genres of fiction, where the comforts of modern technology are combined with the engineering aesthetics and philosophy of the Victorian era (19th century). Andrius Tapinas has written the book "Wolf's Hour", in which the action takes place in stimpank Lithuania. The Burning Man festival in America is known for its stimpank-style appliances and clothing.
