Three years ago(in 2018) when we were just dating, we carved our names into this tree while spending the weekend in Torrey. We had come down this way to get a few of the 'Utah GeoTour' caches and hike Lower Calf Creek Falls. We both fell in love with the area and have since visited several times a year, hoping to one day own our own piece of heaven here.
Last year(2020)we got the wild idea to have an adventure wedding. So us and 14 of our close friends and family came down and hiked ALL...YES ALL of our stuff to get ready at Calf Creek. Dress bags, pop-up shower tents (to change in), hiking packs full of hair gel, make up, hairspray and of course champagne...we made the trek. My best friend got to be our officiant and we said our 'I do's' in front of one of the most amazing places on September 19, 2020.
