When i was about 19 we were out rabbit trapping with the old man and we saw rabbits running everywhere, we had permission to set traps in the national park and we set over 100. Dad also had set a few more than that little way up further. Later on we went and checked the traps the old man went to his i went to mine. I got no rabbits that time when i got back dad had about 70 rabbits and I set the traps just as good as the old man. D ont know what went wrong so we did another round a few hours later and i thought i must get some this time so round i went checking my traps guess what i got no rabbits again get back to camp and i was deverstated as dad got nearly a hundred rabbits and me nothing so before going to bed we went around the traps again and still i got nothing and the old man got close to a hundred rabbits again i just couldnt work out what was going on the old man had well over 200 rabbits and yet i had none. So we hit the sack and i said to dad i dont know whats going on and i know dad could not have took them as i was with him all the time dad said you will get some in the morning devestsated as i was off to sleep i go looking forward to the morning to see how many rabbits i may have caught.Had breakfast EAGER TO GO CHECK THE TRAPS SO DAD GOES TO HIS AND ME TO MY TRAPS STARTED TO CHECK THEM nothing ,nothing,nothing and as iwas going around i was devestated still nothing and then i got 1 rabbit and that was all i got for the weekend when i got back to camp the old man just over 100 rabbits so all up dad ended up with over 300 rabbits and me 1 lousy rabbit i could of sat down and cried but no i didnt and that never happened again as i always caught nearly as many as the old man.
