This cache is part of the Cazenovia cache series, an organized effort to bring more Geocaches to the greater Cazenovia area.
The tuba is the biggest insturment in the band, being three to five feet tall and if completely unraveled, it is almost 40 feet of brass piping. It is also one of the most expensive musical insturments, retailing at anywhere from $3,000 to $25,000. My tuba has three valves and is a Yamaha brass BBb tuba, retailing at about $6,600. My tuba also has a TB code on it and I bring it with me to all my Geocaching events that I host. One of the things that was hard for me when I first started playing was the fingerings. There are 87 notes you can play on the tuba and I had to know all of them front to back. After a couple months of studying, I got the hang of it and I finally started to really enjoy playing the tuba. This puzzle is pretty easy if you use the hint and you understand what you are supposed to be solving. The cache is located about 30 feet off the Link trails on top of the little hill, about half a mile away from Mike's Falls. It is a small plastic container with a blue lid and should be pretty easy to find. A good website to use that would be useful while solving the puzzle can be found here. If you have any questions regarding the puzzle, feel free to contact me though the GC message center.
Here is the puzzle. Good luck!
