Welcome to sunset park in St Petersburg. This park is blossoming during the time of Covid19 with music and food truck rallies happening in the southern section (south of Central Ave that is). the park to the north of Central isn't quite as well used, and even though we live quite close by we never really understood that this was part of Sunset park too. there are lovely benches, and places to sit, the city owned card club is directly adjacent, there is a ton of parking. No wonder locals use it as a nice chilling and fishing spot. During the winter, one of the neighbors even does a massive lighting display. be sure to spend some time here enjoying the beauty of west St Pete and even catching a sunset!
The posted coordinates bring you to the centerpiece of this park and not the actual cache container location. the rest is up to you. bring a pencil and paper (you will have to do some math!) but once you have solved the puzzles the cache is a mildly sneaky little hide. bring a pen, no room for one or for trackables either. This cache is absolutely family friendly. good luck!
coordinates of the physical container:
N 27 46.XYZ
X= number of fire hydrants inside the park + the number of legs per stone bench
Y= number of light poles inside the park
Z= number of stone benches
W 82 44.WWW
WWW = Take the total of all traditional park bench legs plus the total of all park bench slats. Multiply that sum by the total number of stone benches at the fountain. Add 257 to the result.
Congrats to KongoCache on the FTF!
