This cache is placed as part of the 2021 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. Please see BD1 for details about the challenge. This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp in NOT a trade item.
There are six caches scattered in all directions around the park. They are all "park and hike", meaning park the car with a short hike to the cache. All but one of these caches are named after colleges in the surrounding area. Mount Saint Mary College is located in Newburgh, NY. In 1959, MSMC became a 4-year college. There are appoximately 1700 undergraduate students and 800 graduate students attending MSMC.
