Geocache Description:

Here lies the remnants of an old railway line used by BHP.  They would train the sand from BHP in Coffin Bay around to BHP in Port Lincoln situated out at Billy Lights Points.  The sand was then shipped to Japan to make steel.  When you walked in this sand barefoot, it would turn your feet purple.  Operations ceased as Japan sourced the sand elsewhere.
