The cache is a re-purposed torch with camo. It contains a log. There is no room for trackables.
The cache is located on Greens Road, on the Te Araroa trail. The land owner has very kindly allowed a path through here, near to the road. The cache is located in the road reserve, so there is no need to go onto private land. Having said it's in the road reserve, you may still prefer to enjoy the walk by parking at one of the two options and to walk in, than to try a park and grab. Or if you have a friendly driver, park at one end and pick up at the other! If you do decide to go for the road walk or do a park and grab, please beware of the traffic along the road.
Locally, it is also marks a stage of a popular road cycling loop consisting of Old West Road – Kahuterawa Road – Greens Road – Turitea Road – Old West Road (or vice versa of course). There are other caches along that loop route.
