Dieser Multi-Cache mit 4 Stationen und Final führt euch auf einem Spaziergang durch die zwei Ortsteile Kromsdorf-Nord und Kromsdorf-Süd zu den kirchenähnlichen Gebäuden. Das Schloss Kromsdorf mit dem Park war im Jahr 2021 Außenstandort der BUGA in Erfurt. Euer Auto könnt ihr direkt hinter dem Schloss konstenfrei abstellen und euer Weg wird euch hier auch wieder vorbei führen.
Die erste Station (N 51° 00.342 E 011° 21.879) ist der am Berg gelegene Friedhof von Kromsdorf-Nord mit seiner kleinen Trauerhalle. Zählt hier die Glasfenster in der Tür am Eingang (A). In der Nähe der Trauerhalle ist ein altes Familiengrab, welches drei Generationen umfasst. Dort wurde ein Bahnassistent beigsetzt, von dem ihr das Geburtsjahr notieren solltet (B).
An der zweiten Station (N 51° 00.268 E 011° 22.128) steht ihr vor der Schlosskapelle, die nach wechselvoller Geschichte auch als Theaterspielstätte genutzt wurde. An dieser Stelle war der Buchenwald-Überlebende und Menschenrechtsaktivist Stéphane Hessel mehrfach zu Gesprächen zu Gast, weshalb der Platz vor der Schlosskirche seinen Namen trägt. Hier benötigt ihr die Anzahl aller kleinen Fensterabschnitte der Fenster auf der Ostseite (C) und die Jahreszahl, wann die spätere Schlosskirche erstmals erwähnt wurde (D). Diese Information findet ihr auf einer Informationstafel in direkter Nähe. Nun könnt ihr direkt durch den schönen Schlosspark mit seinen interessanten Steinbüsten gehen, der 2021 Außerstandort der BUGA war.
Danach geht ihr über die Ilm und damit in den Ortteil Kromsdorf-Süd, der auch einen Friedhof mit Trauerhalle besitzt (N 51° 00.079 E 011° 22.420). Zählt wieder in der Tür die Anzahl der dreieckigen Fensterabschnitte (E) und notierte die Quersumme der Jahreszahl, die über dem Eingang steht (F).
Nach kurzem Weg steht ihr nun an der eigentlichen, heute noch für Gottesdienste genutzten Kirche von Kromsdorf, die in den Jahren 2001 bis 2012 von Grund auf saniert wurde (N 51° 00.023 E 011° 22.265). Dies geschah mit viel Eigeninitiative und Spenden aus dem Dorf. So konnten Dach, Innenraum, Fassade, Orgel, Geläut und Uhrwerk erneuert werden. Ihr benötigt die Anzahl aller Fensterabschnitte in den großen Fenstern auf der Südseite (G). Eine Informationstafel auf der anderen Seite weist euch weiterhin darauf hin, dass ein sehr berühmter Maler diese Kirche im Jahr 1914 malte. Berechnet den Buchstabenwortwert seines Nachnamens (H).
Nun habt ihr alle benötigten Informationen und könnt nun die Koordinaten für das Final berechnen:

This multi-cache with 4 stations and a finale takes you on a walk through the two districts of Kromsdorf-Nord and Kromsdorf-Süd to the church-like buildings. Kromsdorf Castle and its park were an outdoor location for the BUGA (German Garden Show) in Erfurt in 2021. You can park your car free of charge directly behind the castle, and your route will take you past it again.
The first station (N 51° 00.342 E 011° 21.879) is the Kromsdorf-Nord cemetery, located on the hill, with its small funeral hall. Count the stained-glass windows in the door at the entrance (A). Near the funeral hall is an old family grave spanning three generations. A railway assistant was buried there; you should note his year of birth (B).
At the second stop (N 51° 00.268 E 011° 22.128), you'll find yourself in front of the castle chapel, which, after a turbulent history, was also used as a theater. Buchenwald survivor and human rights activist Stéphane Hessel was a frequent guest at this location for talks, which is why the square in front of the castle church bears his name. Here, you'll need the number of all small window sections on the east side (C) and the year when the later castle church was first mentioned (D). You'll find this information on an information board nearby. Now you can walk directly through the beautiful castle park with its interesting stone busts, which was an off-site location for the BUGA (German Garden Show) in 2021.
Afterward, cross the Ilm River and enter the Kromsdorf-Süd district, which also has a cemetery with a funeral hall (N 51° 00.079 E 011° 22.420). Count the number of triangular window sections (E) again in the doorway and note the sum of the digits of the year above the entrance (F).
After a short walk, you will now be standing at the actual church of Kromsdorf, which is still used for services today and was completely renovated between 2001 and 2012 (N 51° 00.023 E 011° 22.265). This was done with a lot of initiative and donations from the village. This made it possible to renew the roof, interior, facade, organ, bells, and clockwork. You need the number of all window sections in the large windows on the south side (G). An information panel on the other side of the church also tells you that a very famous painter painted this church in 1914. Calculate the letter word value of his surname (H).
