Your first answer should be something other than the cache's location. You'll know it when you see it.
Your second answer should be somewhat distant from the cache too. The checker will help you get progressively closer. It's not equipped to confirm the cache's coordinates per se, but it will deliver you to your final instructions.

Be not afraid of an abundance of red crosses on the checker tally. That's to be expected. Though there is little need for guesswork.
