Geogaching brought me to this hidden gem several years ago and we've been coming back here ever since. When the Buckhorn Reservoir expanded back then, this area became the new back edge of the lake. There used to be a nice trail owned by the city here, but maintenance here has not been a priority. However, the trail is still used often by horseback riders, hikers, and fishermen.
Location for this cache will bring you to the parking and picnic area for the trail. Enjoy the hunt and make sure you stop and look at the scenery.
