Geogaching brought me to this hidden gem several years ago and we've been coming back here ever since. When the Buckhorn Reservoir expanded back then, this area became the new back edge of the lake. There used to be a nice trail owned by the city here, but maintenance here has not been a priority. However, the trail is still used often by horseback riders, hikers, and fishermen.
Location for this cache will take you on a nice hike down the city owned trail. Parking is available at the nearby geocache - Buckhorn Trail - Parking and Picnic. You are looking for a camo lock-n-lock container big enough for small tradeable items. Enjoy the hunt and make sure you stop and look at the scenery.
