History:
(From plaque at orchard site)
"The first orchard planted in our valley by Jeremiah Borst was located on this site, and some antique varieties of fruit trees have been selected to connect with that history. It is my belief that healthy foods should be available to all. I hope that the orchard can provide that, and also increase food security for those who may need it. The fruit from this orcahrd is a gift for the people and visitors of the Snoqualmie Valley." - Ashton Fender
This orchard was created by Ashton Fender from Troop 466 for and Eagle Scout Project in May 2017. Maybe if you're lucky, there will be fruit to pick when you visit,
The Cache:
The cache is located on public lands near the orchard. Its a good one for kids but involves a bit of a reach.
