Welcome to Gilman Village. In the 1970s developers got the idea that they could move some old homes and buildings onto the site and create a shopping center. The land was once owned by the Wold family who grew hops in the valley. If you walk through the shops, the barn (currently Lucky You) the house (currently a preschool) and the Granery (currently Mudhouse) are in the original locations even though they have been almost completely rebuilt over the years. Other buildings around the site were moved here from parts of Issaquah and others are modern construction made to 'fit in".
The Cache is located close to parking on the south side of Gilman Vilage but is not actually on Gilman Village property. Please tread lightly and don't try to make a straight from the parking lot. There is a way that is already clear.
