This area has a few different names, the one above or as the locals just call it the Ceres Lookout and the official name of "The Brown Hill Reserve.
Google Earth calls it Wandana lookout. What ever you call it it is in need of some TLC so hence this CITO.
Rubbish Bags will be supplied but please wear a hat, sunscreen, dress appropriately and bring a water bottle AND GLOVES. So come along and help to pick up rubbish to clean up one of Geelong’s best lookouts.
Hand sanitizer and Insect Repellant will be supplied.
Depending on numbers attending it may be necessary to send some folk to a different area. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IF THIS IS THE CASE AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS OF WHERE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GO.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
PLEASE register your 'will attend' and indicate the number of cachers in your group.
You must show proof of double vaccination (or medical exemption) and adhere to any current restrictions. On arrival, you will be required to register with a smart device using a QR Code.
This event is being conducted as per Victorian Government guidelines restrictions. As these change from time to time we will do our best to keep up with latest requirements.
For this event to be a success on all levels it is very important that you are considerate, follow all instructions and practice safe personal distancing and carry a face mask.
Dependent upon numbers, it may be necessary to stagger the start times of participants. This will be communicated through 'Event Announcement" on the cache page.
Participating in this event and photographing yourself doing the Emu Bob (Picking up rubbish) at the event will fulfil the requirements of the Location less Cache GC8NEAT if you have not claimed it yet..
