It's Michael's Da(ir)y!
Every year, there is one day when I get to celebrate Michael (me!) without anyone thinking that I am lacking humility. This year, I found an awesomely appropriate location for a get together. This area offers open space to stand or lounge around (feel free to bring your own chairs), enjoy a bite to eat (I can offer a suggestion about where to get dessert and/or coffee), catch up with cachers, and enjoy what I hope will be a nice spring afternoon/evening in Groton.
I have talked with the manager at the nearby retail establishment and they welcome us to gather at this location. I will be there by 5:30 and do not plan to leave before 7:00. Hopefully, you will be able to come by for at least a few minutes to have some caching get-together fun. There are a few caches in the area - and on the way to and from the interstate if you are traveling that way.
I hope to see as many of you as possible because, well, It's My Day!
We are going to be COVID-safe at this outdoor event. We will maintain our distance, we will be supportive of wearing masks, and I will sign the event log on your behalf if you prefer.
