*Bring some tweezers to retrieve the log.*
This is my first ever geocache. I wanted to inspire people to see the lovely viewpoint that I am lucky to walk my dog to every day. Take a seat at Jack's View, to look out across West Kilbride, Seamill, over the Clyde to Arran and on a clear day you will see Kintyre and the Paps of Jura beyond. Farland Head, near Portencross, is home to otters, seals and we also have the occasional sighting of porpoise and dolphins. Yes, many interesting things are found in the waters of the Clyde. In 1588 a Spanish Armada ship sank just off shore. In 1740 many cannons were salvaged from the wreck: one can still be seen outside Portencross Castle today.
I placed this geocache with help from geocacher Amazo.
Please put the geocache back safely out of view once you have found it. Happy finding 😀
